St. Francis and the Walk

I have always been partial to the walk. On several levels.

Walking on earth. A live action reminder of God's creation.
Not a run. Not a drive. Just a walk.

Following Christ has bee described as a walk. He is the way.
No need to hurry. Might miss what He wants to show me.
If I close my eyes, there will be disaster. Just keep walking.
Not a run. Not a drive. Just a walk.

Nice to have some company. Our church provides saints. They are companions. They know the way. But they are not the way. And they walked. They didn't run. They didn't drive. They just walked.

I am glad to be in good company.
